Product Standardization Manager – R&D

At Sandvik Rock Processing solutions, we’re now looking for a Product Standardization Manager to join us and contribute to our operational development. About your job
In this position, you lead and execute initiatives to standardize processes, ensuring compliance with the latest industry standards and regulations. You capture and develop new ideas and apply them in a way that adds value to our business. By continuously reviewing and improving methods, tools and processes, you share skills and best practices within own functions and internal networks. You’re the R&D contact and driver regarding way of working for standards, documentation, safety and communication. Acting as a true Sandvik leader, you support colleagues in their professional growth to improve their capabilities to deliver.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading R&D initiatives regarding React and EHS360, focusing on product safety.
  • Actively seek and keep track of new and updated standards.
  • Managing the CE-marking (UL/CSA) process, including risk assessment and Declaration of Conformity documents.
  • Develop and archiving different safety, standards and special documentation.
  • Supporting SCIP and SBTI-reporting.
  • Responsible for R&D standards and documentation.

The location for this position is Svedala and we apply a hybrid work set-up, allowing you to combine office and remote work. Travel is included in this role.

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience. You have a few years' experience in product development and upgrades within R&D functions, preferably in a global manufacturing company. An understanding of technical aspects, product standardization, product safety and documentation is essential. Working in a global environment calls for proficiency in English.

You’re a person that sees the potential for improvements in your daily work, and it is natural for you to take the lead and support improvement opportunities. As a true team player, you collaborate easily with others and your ability to communicate and build strong relationships contributes to a positive and productive work atmosphere. With your problem-solving skills you find innovative solutions and enjoy taking on new challenges.
